Dr. Joycelyn Yvonne Pernell-Henderson is the founder of Living By Precepts Ministries, Inc. LBPM is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Hartford, WI. This ministry began in 2000 as a vision from God to Dr. Pernell-Henderson. LBPM’s Vision is “Bringing the Lost into a Covenant Relationship with God the Father and Equipping Those That Are Saved to Gain a Better Understanding of Their Covenant Rights.” 

Dr. Joycelyn Yvonne Pernell-Henderson, along with her husband, Dr. Walter Henderson III, is a founder of Berean Family Worship Center (BFWC), which was birthed in 1985. 

BFWC is a thriving ministry – One Church in Two Cities, located in the Metropolitan area of the city of Milwaukee and the village of Germantown, WI. Their desire and BFWC’s Vision is to “Disciple Sons and Daughters That Will Enlarge the Kingdom of God.” 

LBPM published a quarterly newsletter for pastors’ wives and women in ministry, entitled “The Joyous Pastor’s Helpmeet (JPH).” This newsletter’s circulation reached over 46 states in the United States and four foreign countries, including parts of Africa, Israel, China, and Australia. The last issue of JPH was published in September 2008.
